We know some parts of this website aren’t fully accessible:

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 AA standard, due to the non-compliance issues identified below:

• Headings are not always logical and in places skip a heading level (this relates to WCAG criteria 2.4.10 Section Headings)
• The logo in the form does to contain alt text (this does not meet WCAG criteria 1.1.1 Non-text Content)
• In the map areas of the website the web pages are not contained by landmarks (this does not meet WCAG criteria 1.3.1 Info and Relationships)
• The submit button within the form does not meet minimum colour contrast requirements (this does not meet WCAG criteria 1.4.3 Contrast -Minimum)
• In some places on the form the ARIA role attribute isn't always appropriate for the element, or the ARIA role doesn’t contain children (this does not meet WCAG criteria 1.3.1 Info and Relationships)
• Some buttons on the website do not have an obvious colour contrast on focus or selected states (this does not meet WCAG criteria 2.4.13 Focus Appearance)
• When the map is filtered the options to see other routes disappear and it is hard to return to the original view using only a keyboard (this does not meet WCAG criteria 3.2.3 Consistent navigation)
• When zooming into the site, the container menu of the map locations becomes obscured and difficult to scroll through (this does not meet WCAG criteria 2.4.11 Focus Not Obscured Minimum and 1.4.10 Reflow)
• There are duplicate links to the survey that are all labelled the same, yet some may point to a pre-populated form for a specific area (this does not meet WCAG criteria 2.4.4 Link Purpose - In Context)
• Some PDFs created by the website are not fully accessible

• Axe Developer Tools to check the underlying code
• keyboard only access testing a selection of user journeys
• NVDA screen reader testing a selection of user journeys
• zoom up to 400% to test that the site is responsive
