Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) ÇÑ×ÓÊÓÆµ County Council (District of Wychavon – Evesham Area) (Permitted Parking Area and Special Parking Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2004 (Variation) Order 2024 [Revocation and Proposed Waiting Restrictions on Abbey Road/Abbey Lane, Evesham]
On 11 September 2025 ÇÑ×ÓÊÓÆµ County Council made an Order the effect of which will be prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of road in Evesham:
U44401 Abbey Lane (Both sides) – All waiting restrictions over its entire length.
New Restrictions
U44401 Abbey Lane (Both sides) – No Waiting At Any Time over its entire length.
Abbey Road (West Side) - No Waiting At Any Time - from a point 28m north of its junction with U44401 for a distance of 47m in a northerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 2 October 2025.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
