Bromsgrove Road, Romsley EXP WR & NS

Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) ÇÑ×ÓÊÓÆµ County Council (Bromsgrove District) (Civil Enforcement Area) (Waiting Restrictions and Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2009 (Variation) Order 2025 [Experimental Restrictions of Waiting & No Stopping on School Entrance Markings (Proposals and Revocation) on Bromsgrove Road, Romsley]

On 17 April 2025 ÇÑ×ÓÊÓÆµ County Council made an Experimental Order which will be to impose a restriction of waiting Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm, on the following length and side of road in Romsley: 

Bromsgrove Road (East side): From a point 257 metres north of the centrepoint of its junction with Poplar Lane for a distance of 20 metres in a southerly direction.

The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons’ vehicles.

ÇÑ×ÓÊÓÆµ County Council made an Experimental Order which will be to prohibit stopping on school entrance markings on the following length and side of road in Romsley:

Bromsgrove Road, Romsley: (Both Sides) From a point 193 metres north of the centrepoint of its junction with Poplar Lane for a distance of 34 metres in a southerly direction.

Revocation of No Stopping on School Entrance Markings Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm

Bromsgrove Road, Romsley( Both Sides) From a point 230 metres north of the centrepoint of its junction with Poplar Lane for a distance of 37 metres in a southerly direction.

The Experimental Orders will come into operation on 8 May 2025 and remain in force for a maximum period of 18 months.

The Experimental Order has been made to allow an assessment of the effect of the Order before a decision is taken to make it permanent. If you wish to object/ make representations about the Order being made permanent, you must do so in writing to me at County Hall or email roadtrafficregs@worcestershire.gov.uk to be received by 8 November 2025 specifying the grounds on which they are made.
