On 29 May 2025 ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ County Council made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit waiting at any time on the following lengths and sides of roads in Stourport on Severn:
Tan Lane, Stourport on Severn
South side – Proposals
Revoke limited waiting Limited Waiting 30 Mins No Return 30 Mins Mon-Sat 8am-6.30pm - From a point 54m west of its junction with Lombard Street, for a distance of 40m in a westerly direction.
Prohibit waiting at any time – From a point 54m west of its junction with Lombard Street, for a distance of 40m in a westerly direction.
North side – Proposals
Revoke no waiting 8am-6pm - From a point 12m west of its junction with Lombard Street, for a distance of 15m in a westerly direction.
Limited waiting 30mins no return 30mins Mon-Sat 8am-630pm - From a point 12m west of its junction with Lombard Street, for a distance of 15m in a westerly direction.
The Order will vary the above Consolidation Order (which provides for civil enforcement of contraventions of waiting prohibitions and restrictions) and will contain exemptions to allow parking/access for certain purposes and limited waiting by disabled persons' vehicles.
The Order will come into operation on 19 June 2025.

The validity of the Council's powers in making the Order or this exercise of them may be questioned by application to the High Court within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made.
