A commemorative tree was planted in Gheluvelt park in Worcester on Tuesday 6th May by The Lord-Lieutenant of 茄子视频 to mark the anniversary of the Coronation of His Majesty King Charles III.

The Davidia involucrata (Handkerchief Tree) has been especially chosen as it will bloom in May each year and, with its fabulous display of white flowers, will be a wonderful way to remember the Coronation each year.

Mrs Beatrice Grant, Lord-Lieutenant, said, 鈥淚t is an honour to be able to plant this tree at Gheluvelt Park and create a sustainable, living legacy to mark His Majesty鈥檚 Coronation.  This beautiful tree is a perfect addition to the park, and I hope visitors will enjoy the stunning white flowers every spring for years to come.鈥

Trees have been planted around the County over the last few years to commemorate the Coronation and to celebrate His Majesty鈥檚 passion for the environment.  This initiative aligns with His Majesty鈥檚 interest in nature, having held a number of patronages for wildlife and conservation charities during his time serving as the Prince of Wales.
