ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ County Council has hailed the ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ Skills Show 2025 as a major success, with over 3,500 young people attending the county’s largest careers event.

It’s held at Worcester's Sixways Stadium over two days (5-6 March), and the event is a collaboration between ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ County Council, Inspiring ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ, ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ Growth Hub and the ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ Local Enterprise Partnership. Local, national, and international businesses, training providers, and educational institutions are brought together to showcase the wide range of career opportunities available to ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ’s young people and future workforce.

>The two-day event, a highlight in the careers calendar, provides an invaluable platform for students from over 40 schools to explore potential career paths, engage in hands-on experiences, and gain direct insights from industry experts. It also gave local businesses the chance to take part in seminars featuring guest speakers, network with peers, share best practices, and explore available business support.

Councillor Adam Kent, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Skills and Economy at ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ County Council, said: "ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ Skills Show 2025 was an absolutely brilliant event. We saw over 3,500 young people come to the event and connect with more than fifty stallholders, businesses from all walks of life within ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ and outside of it, including the services, Police, the RAF and the Army. I'm really pleased we've been able to put this event on and I hope it's been incredibly useful for all those that have attended. A thank you to all those that took part, the staff that made this happen and all of the businesses that put the time and energy into being here."

We've seen so many fantastic employers, training providers, and educational establishments on board supporting us at ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ County Council and ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ Local Enterprise Partnership with our Early Careers’ strategy and helping us to create ÇÑ×ÓÊÓƵ’s future workforce.
