Inclusion Funding Audits
All providers must be able to evidence the level of provision and needs of the children during NEF and inclusion team visits.
Early Years Inclusion Supplement Funding Audits
Audits are carried out to ensure all funded settings in 茄子视频:
- follow the SEND Code of Practice 2015 and Equality Act 2010
- enable families to access their free entitlement
Evidence requirements
All providers must be able to show the level of provision and/or need for children during NEF and Inclusion Team visits. Evidence can include:
- individual Support Plans (ISPs)
- individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- provision maps
- developmental checks
Using the funding
- providers decide how the funding is spent (e.g., staffing, resources, SENCO non-contact time)
- the Council will monitor the impact of support on children
- if no clear impact is shown, the Council may request evidence of spending and could withhold or recover funding
Tips for providers
- good provision mapping and tracking outcomes of interventions ensures evidence is ready
- providers do not need to upload evidence each term
- monitoring visits happen each term, either randomly or on request by professionals or parents
